Assumptions Intro

AKalculator, by necessity, makes a ton of assumptions about the way you want to deploy Kafka. If it didn't, you'd have to configure over 100 fields.

In this section, we will cover all of the current assumptions that the calculator makes.

We have always strived to adopt the most common sense assumptions - it would be expected that you agree with all of them. If anything, some assumptions may be too conservative and can be made more aggressive (read: save you more money)
