🐆 No Zookeeper
This is the easiest and is next on our list to just ship. We basically don't account for Zookeeper or extra KRaft nodes.
Really out of laziness. Never got to it. Because the other costs are predominant, the addition of 3 small machines (e.g r4.xlarge) doesn't really impact the cost calculation and as such we chose to punt it for the end.
tip
Since one r4.xlarge costs around ~$194 a month without discounts, you can just add $600 to the total monthly cost until we ship this.
